M.A.  Education Mills College,  CA teaching credential.

Brooke has had a song in her heart as far back as she can remember.  She has always been interested in making music, listening to music and exploring instruments.   She learned to play guitar as a teenager which opened a vast world of musical expression and connection.

At the University of Vermont, Brooke took classes in music theory and music appreciation to supplement her Social Science degree.    Brooke continued her education to get a California teaching credential and Master’s Degree in Education at Mills College in Oakland, California.  For over twenty years Brooke has been teaching children and adults in a variety of subjects and school settings.

Creating music is important to Brooke.   She has been writing music and performing in front of audiences for over 20 years.  She currently plays locally in solo and small group performances.  She is also in the band BC & the Remedy, that creates soulful rock and blues music for audiences in the Tahoe area.

In 2012 Brooke opened Truckee Tahoe Music Together, offering music education for young children and their families in fun and joyful classes.  This program is a true joy to bring to the families of Tahoe and Reno.  She loves exploring music with young musicians as she bears witness to the glimmer in their eyes and the magic in their hearts with each new song.  In addition, Brooke teaches private lessons in ukulele, guitar, piano and voice.

Koral was born and raised right here in Truckee, CA. Singing has always been a huge passion for
Koral; she has been singing since she could talk. As a little girl, she was often found toting
around a microphone, singing tunes into her cassette recorder.
Growing up, Koral was involved in musical theater, drama and band. She continued her music
education in college, singing in various concert and symphonic choirs, jazz ensembles and small
groups.
She also sang with the San Diego Women’s Chorus for numerous years, including solo
performances and participation in an international choral festival. Koral is also a past member
of the Truckee Tahoe Community Chorus.
As a mother, Koral incorporates music into daily life. It brings her such joy to share the love of
music with her son. Koral can’t wait to make music with you and your little ones too!
